Artwork Portfolio & Sign TuffBox Transport Case - ID 30" x 24" x 6"

Great product. I have 2 other cases which I have brought from Island Cases over 30 years ago.

I'm just finishing up a long project of removing my framed photos from a gallery/studio to my home and storing semi-long-term. It was complicated because I only have a crawlspace, not a basement, but these Tuffbox hard cases were the perfect size and solution for me. I’ve used four of the 30” x 24” v 6” cases and am purchasing at least two more. It's a dry space fortunately, but nonetheless I have an industrial-strength dehumidifier down there and plastic pallets to store the artwork above and off the gravel/sand floor. For each Tuffbox case, I very meticulously wrapped four 22” x 27" framed photos together with generous tissue paper between each, added eight plastic corner protectors (one for each corner), and lots of gaffer’s tape holding the foursome together. I then insert the “sandwich” into these wonderful ArtPakk, heavy-duty art storage bags with velcro closure. I place a Wisesorb dessicant cannister inside the ArtPakk bag and I place it into the Road Case Tuffbox, stuff with padding to prevent movement/shifting and close with the two strap/buckles. These Road Case Tuffboxes worked great. Don’t forget to label with a list of contents, both on the ArtPaak and Tuffbox!

Not only is it a good product, but customer support is first rate. The lid corner on my new case cracked in shipping. With one call, my problem was solved. I received a replacement lid promptly. Clear communications. Great service.

I bought one of these years ago in a larger size to transport my work. It has traveled to France, Australia, Scotland and more and is still going strong. I love that there is now an option to add wheels, making it even more convenient for air travel. Great product and company.

I am pleased with the product and the service. I have tried multiple different methods of transporting framed artwork without damaging the frames. This product works the best for me, and is also the most compact transport method. I am also hoping that future nicks and scratches to my wooden gallery frames will be eliminated.
