For the price, the build and precision are pretty good- though not perfect. The hardware is rugged. This is the right case for gigging musicians playing local gigs, providing good protection for gear loaded into a car. If you need more serious protection, get a beefier case. Came with 4 screws (enough for one rack unit).

For my purposes, this is an excellent case especially for the price. I am not a touring or gigging musician, I use this case for moving my Aguilar bass amp head from my house to my drummer's studio. For that purpose it is perfect. The walls of the case are not very rigid, they do flex a bit when you put pressure on them, but this does not affect me at all since I don't abuse my gear. I would guess with the 3/8" ply cases this wouldn't happen. The lids go on perfectly and latch tightly, there's never an issue getting them on. My only criticism is that when I place this on top of my speaker cabinets, the vibration from the bass frequencies will rattle the latches causing an undesirable rattling sound. At loud volumes, it's not an issue at all but when the volume is lower you can hear it. Not a deal breaker, but I do wish the latches were mounted on the lids as opposed to the case itself. I would recommend this case to my friends and I'll probably buy one of their pedal cases in the near future.

Really well built- just needed a light compact case for some portable expensive mic-pres and a patchbay- this is great-doesn't take up much space on the console, and easily packs away- great quick service, reallly nice build. a good find!

This is a nice, sturdy and well-made case. Everything fits well and the device I purchased it for fits perfectly. About the only thing missing would be some sturdy rubber feet for the bottom, so when in use it stays put. I'll add those because it's easy and inexpensive to do so.
